As promise, here are some pics of the new Helix amplifier at Winter NAMM 2012.
A few notes:
Pricing is around $2,000 USD, 1200watts is into a 4ohm load, availability is around April, 2012. Subject to possible change, of course.
The sound? Hard to really hear the nuances on the loud NAMM room floor (If Terry <rinos88> says it's dead quiet I'd believe him though), but it has serious balls (sound Police permitting). Smoother to my ears than a WT800. VT.40 fans will feel that David vibe in the punchy tone. Built like a tank. Switches had a firm feel as did the pots. The control knobs felt and look awesome. Bottom line: it's not an Eden (or anyone else) clone. It's new, it's different and what you would expect from David.
Enjoy!

Re: Winter NAMM 2012 show!
All fired up and ready to scare guitar players and drummers alike.
One last bit of info...the amp is rack mountable & comes with rack ears!
Thanks again to David and his wonderful wife for taking the time to chat with me and let me take these pictures.
So go out and buy it already!!
Keep it low.

I didn't have that figure in my notes. Full *updated* specs will arrive soon from David, I'm sure. If I had to guess, it would 800-1,000w though. Purely speculating though.
