Re: Motorcycles. . .
Been riding since 1960, with a long string of rides, but have settled on Kawasakis. Have an '82 GPz550, an 84 KZ1100R (ELR style) and an 03 ZRX1200R with just a few mods ;) Don't know how many miles/kilometers I've put on bikes but these three have almost 100,000km on them. That's not high at all co...

Re: Low Notes for Nashville
What with the tornados and the oil platform blow up, I really hadn't heard much about what was happening in that part of the country. :o Impressed with how quickly you have put this together, Lane. Shows big heart, both your's and that of the folks who've been able to step up to the plate. Don't kno...

Re: Flared Ports
So, its either a prototype trick to the eye, or David's come up with 'nother breakthrough? . . .

Flared Ports
After looking at the photos on the Cabinets page, it appears that the flared ports are open to both the front and the rear. Is that correct? Is that the same with the flared shelf ports on the 410?
What's the scoop here, as I've never seen that before?

Re: KSB, MTD, Fbass, or Zon
Not quite in the same price range, but you might also want to look at Dingwall Guitars from Canada. I played an acquaintance's 5 string (Dingwall uses the fan fret layout but it doesn't take long to get used to) and the 37" length of the B string makes it sound like thunder. Sheldon Dingwall is...

Re: Avalon U5 direct box/preamp
Rae\TobiasMan, did you ever get yer Navigator fixed for good? I emailed you awhile back on the fix for mine that worked, but you had apparently retired from that place. -LF Yep, I've officially retired! More time to :violin: when I've finished the chores. ;) Got my WP100 back. It works but ...

Re: Cab hardwear options
The foldable "leg" ONLY on small cabs, that's a very good thing... The problem with getting spare/extra parts over here is to get them, unless you have a very good ambassadeur/distributor around. . . . One thing that can be tricky to find is spare fuses for the horn, so please use a "...

Re: Tube or not to tube?
I understand the desire for a wide variety of amps.
For me a tube pre and a solid state power section works well. Would be nice if the pre tube(s) could do a bit more tone shaping than the existing hybrid gear.

Any and all languages appreciated - they just have to be properly proofed, ya no what I'm sayin'?
