Six years of 410 Use
I bought the DNA 410 in 2010 at Bass Northwest (RIP) here in Seattle. I've used it at hundreds of gigs by now. Been using this signal chain for all this time Alembic F1-x, Stewart 2.1 (2100 watts), DNA 410. Basses are my modded '77 P (thanks Mike Lull), Modulus 5 (which I rarely play), and Turner Re...

Gig In Seattle Tonight
If you want to hear the 4x10, come to The Poggie Tavern in West Seattle tonight. I'm filling in for the Cold Shot blues band. SRV type of stuff. 3 piece.

Re: How the DNA Sounds at a Gig
Another very different type of gig with a report on sound. I played with the University of Oregon Alumni Pep Band for the last basketball game in the old arena before they move to the new one they just built. It was a big band since this was a special occasion. About 60 horn players showed up and th...

Too Many Knobs
I can't be the only one. I'm an intelligent man, but I can't deal with complex gear. My preamplifier has three tone knobs and two switches. I never use the crossover. Amp always bridged to 2100 watts. My bass has two volume knobs and one tone knob. I bought a pedal board, but I don't use the effects...

How the DNA Sounds at a Gig
Played the 410 Friday & Saturday. Alembic F1-x to Stewart 2.1 bridged into the 410. First night had a bag end 410 stacked on top of the DNA 410. Wow! Second night just the DNA. Absolutely tremendous. Played my mid 70s P-bass modded by Mike Lull with PJ Lindy Fralins and a new bridge. Took my...

First Gig with DNA 4x10
Gigs tonight and tomorrow night in at CC's lounge in Burien, WA I love the sound of my current rig, but haven't had the low end that I would like, especially on the 5. Went into Bass Northwest today and came out with the DNA 4x10. Here's my signal chain: Modulus Sweet Spot 5, Turner Renaissance 4 fr...
