First 1350 in the old world :-)

I made the trip to Chicago to pick up some gear. :-)

Thanks to Jeff, he made that trip very enjoyable. A great host I have to say!

Awwww...c'mon! You just had to one-up me! :-P :-P

Congrats on the gear, I can't wait to try mine! I think the neighbors are going to call in a report of a seismic event in the next few days!

Wait a second! I just looked at the back plate of the picture you took. Is that an alternate input on the bottom left? Let's say I rack mount the amp, I could conceivably set up all my routing in the back to maintain a nice, clean front of the amp? If so, very, very cool!

Of course we have an input at the rear panel as well!

This amp is really great!
I had a look under the hood and I can tell this is a very nice build amp!
Top notch op amps were used and also the THAT4301P chip found its way into this monster.

I took some measurements as well.
When the amp is off I had a noise level of about 30 db and after switching it on of about 32 dB.
Means the fan is pretty silent, but I am already building something to improve that (more news to come).

But what really impressed me how silent the amp itself is. With the compressor disengaged and volume at maximum I did get only 38 dB of noise out of the DNS410.
If I would have played a note on my bass in this setting I would have had a "Back To The Future" experience :D

With the volume at 50% I already had something around 120 dB with the DNS410.

All measurements were done @ 1 m distance with a NTI Audio XL2!

That is fantastic, and you totally won me over as you referenced my favorite movie.

My amp arrived at my doorstep within 24 hours of me ordering it. I'm blown away. I plugged it in and tried it out, AMAZING!!! There is a clarity that I didn't know I was missing. I love my WT1205, but well, it's now my backup as the 1350 is simply fantastic.

I won't get a chance to really try it out for a few weeks, but my first impression is this will trump any other amp I come across.

...and for the record, it's number 5 of 50, not too far behind you!!!
