Update from David

Postby Bassmann1968 » Thu Dec 13, 2012 4:10 am

Hi -- David Nordschow here.

I want to give you an update on a few things. First of all I want to thank our customers who have been purchasing and playing through our DNA speaker cabinets. We continue to hear great stories from the road, the clubs and recording studios. We'll keep making them so you can keep playing them.

Second, I want to give you an update on the DNA amp head. We've been getting some feedback from bass players who have been using our prototypes and as a result, I've been tweaking a few things to make it perform even better. We're in the final stages before full production and we expect to have them available in the first half of 2013.

Finally, I want to share one other exciting development. Those who know me know that my passion is delivering great bass gear for musicians worldwide. So in addition to building the product line at DNA, I have also been helping out my friends at Marshall Amplification. I've been collaborating with them to design some new speakers and cabinets for their small combos that you should see in 2013. Of course, my primary focus will continue to be on developing innovative bass gear at DNA and hope that you will continue to show your support.

Wishing you all a happy holiday season full of great grooves,
David

Been waiting for the shoe to drop.

Good news on the amp tweaks. Collaboration with Marshall also sounds interesting. Obviously not competing products ;)

This is good to hear.
Still wondering if there will ever be any product videos demonstrating how these cabs sound in a live setting with different players and styles.
Don't get me wrong, I will own at some point a pair of DNS112c's based solely off what i've read, it'd just be nice to see and hear some off the feedback thatt's being talked about.

Not that it matters, but the smillies aren't working : (

I am aware of the smilies, but I need to wait for Spydah to do something about.

As for videos, I am getting home next week and hope to have the 1350 in my home for a test ride. I will check it with two DNS112 and with a DNS410. Keep the fingers crossed that the amp will be still in Europe and ready for me :D

YES!!! WOO HOO!!!

Now I'm getting excited. I seriously can't wait until I can get a hold of my shiny new amp and unleash it with my band. I've been hoping it is available for when we do our next round of recording.

By the way, I have a bunch of new recordings with my DNS410-4. I just gotta get the time to figure out how to post them for y'all.
