McHenry, IL —
A minor earthquake hit near northwest suburban McHenry last night. It registered a 2.4-magnitude just before 10 p.m. Seismologists originally located it in the area of Lake Shangrila, Wisconsin, about 11 miles west-southwest of Kenosha, but the U.S. Geological Survey now says the epicenter puts the quake on Chapel Hill Road, two miles east of McHenry. There were over 100 responses saying they felt the earthquake in McHenry according to the USGS website as of 5 a.m. There are no injuries that have been reported so far.

Knew that was coming. Output was constrained to not reveal the amp's potential to competitors. ;)

The destruction continues. While testing the 1350 prototype this week, two of my wife's 20"x20" paintings came crashing down off the wall. We used what I thought were the proper load-rated hangers, but the top picture frame pulled out of the drywall and fell, shearing off the one below it. :o

The space: our sunroom is roughly 25'x20' with a wood floor and crawl space underneath. The whole room must have been flexing since the photos that fell were at the far end of the room, 90 degrees off axis from the two DNS112's. It's almost loud enough, David.

Here's the damage. The top picture vibrated off the hook and the falling frame sheared off the one below it. My rig was 20' away and 90 degrees off-axis. Would the corner have multiplied the dB's?
