Exciting news!!!

David will show the new Amp at the NAMM.
1200W are ready for our listening pleasure.

The test team was very delighted about the looks and the sound quality.
It is dead quite and has great tone.

David will send pictures from the show as soon as possible.

DEAR GOD!!!

I stopped by to meet our great 'Founder.' David is a very nice guy, along with his wife. I spent quite a bit of time talking with them.

Let me tell you that the wait on the heads is worth it. The first thing that shocked me is how DEAD QUIET the amp is when a note is not being played, but quickly springs to life as soon as you hit the slightest note. It weighs almost NOTHING!

As for the tone: It is nothing short of astonishing. It is easily as warm and punchy as the old brand WT800, but has something really cool going on in the midrange. I don't even quite know how to describe it. It is such a unique character of tone that I've never heard before.

It's late and I'm tired, but I will give a full report on it sometime in the next few days. Rest assured, IT"S AWESOME!

That's the one!!! Vuyani and I had a chance to compare the amp before David left for NAMM. The first observation is that it looks solid in person, so the light weight surprises you. The NAMM lighting masks somewhat the pleasing glow from the front panel lighting. Yes, the electronics are perfectly silent at idle. Even with the master cranked we heard NO hiss. Tone wise, David still knows how to design a "flat" control set that is instantly usable. Being an all-new design compared to his familiar gold-panel efforts, we observed excellent power, superb nuance and detail, and highly responsive dynamics. Dialing in modern or old school tones was a breeze as well. More often than not, we cut various Eq bands slightly, rather then boosting, without having to make adjustments to the Master, and felt the "flat" setting was well balanced. There was enough abundant power that we kept our bass's volume controls rolled back most of the night, but we eventually did have the DNS410 absolutely roaring, with neighborhood dogs yelping loudly.

Test basses: Surine 5-string, Lakland 55-94 fretless, Carvin 6-string, "hot" P-bass

We were typing at the same time. See above. I can add that when we first played through the output section guts a few months ago, there was no fancy case, and no knobs, switches, or lights to entice us visually. It was obvious then that David was on to something good. After assembling into a finished box, the "it" is still there in spades. We're looking forward to reports from the floor of NAMM, how this cuts through the ambient noise and hoopla. Can you say "Sound Police?"
