There is a MUTE on the front panel.
Which functions are assigned to the foot switch I don't know yet.

I should read my own post :D

Foot switches to control compressor bypass, tone bypass, shape bypass, and effects on/off.

I can add that when we first played through the output section guts a few months ago, there was no fancy case, and no knobs, switches, or lights to entice us visually. It was obvious then that David was on to something good. After assembling into a finished box, the "it" is still there in spades. We're looking forward to reports from the floor of NAMM, how this cuts through the ambient noise and hoopla. Can you say "Sound Police?"

Yes, I didn't see you online. Thanks for your insides

Nice to see my full featured compressor controls made it as well as auto comp features for those that prefer a more plug and play approach.

So 1200watts...nice amount of juice, but what load rating? Guessing 4ohm?

I look forward to chatting with David again, a chance to play through this beast, and get some nice front and back panel pictures tomorrow.

This amp will absolutely SLAY the competition! I didn't even mess with the controls at all. I plugged in and instantly got incredible tone that didn't even need any sculpting. Every frequency was set to absolute perfection.

There is just so much 'soul' in this thing. Everyone was blasting sound from every direction, but the amp seemed to effortlessly bloom above all of the ambient noise.

There is actually almost a sugary sweet tone to it. The midrange is just so beautiful. I played a bit of one of my band's songs that has a very melodic intro with a constant 'A' as a pedal tone.

The low 'A' seemed to bloom out wonderfully, while each of the higher notes seemed to cut through equally. There were no weird peaks at certain pitches like other amps and cabs seem to have.

I truly can say that I've never played another amp that has the tonal character that this has.

Great news! Soul and presence that overcomes the ambient cacophony of the NAMM show! You're right about this amp having something special. It's more than just the lack of awkwardness, peakiness, or dead spots. David made the right call going with the highest quality components.

VIDEO TIME!

This is me playing an Overture handcrafted bass through the new Helix amp. Oh yeah! Keep in mind that this is over a ton of ambient noise and recorded by an Ipad that was several feet away.

Ok, I've been lurking around on here for quit a while but this is my 1st post. I'll start by saying that I do own a small rig of The founders previous design being 2-112xlt's a WTX 260 and a WTX500. I love it all.

Now i'll say There is no reason whatsoever that I would NEED that much power but... I REALLY WANT ONE OF THESE

By the way Terry, great sound, just beautiful. Which cab where you playing through?
What was your EQing,if any.
