Yet again even more church gigs...

Tell everyone where you're playing. You never know who will show up.

Of course JBM is THE coffee, but it costs THE heap of money. Not for an addict or bums like most of us...

Years ago, my son lived in Montreal and my wife and I were living in Vermont. While I was visiting him we went to a shop that roasted a lot of their own coffee. I bought some Jamaica Blue Mt. coffee there and with the exchange rate, it was only about $20 for a pound instead of the $30-$40 I'd seen in the states. So, of course I bought it. The best way to describe that JBM coffee is "silky". If you've had it you know what I mean. It is of course the perfect coffee to drink before, during, and after any gig in a church (see how I saved that thread Roger?).

Dan,
I'm sorry to say the nice looking creek is contaminated of hundreds of years of metal forgery and a criminal act in the 60's - 70's when the former plant owner dug down some stuff in the ground at the plant...
A lethal paradise...

Sorry to hear that. I'm a died in the wool fly-fisherman and I love fishing spring creeks. I coordinated and taught the Orvis West Coast Fly-Fishing Schools in the US from 1987-1997 and we primarily fished on spring creeks. Typically they are very clear, slow moving, lots of rooted vegetation in the river (aquatic insect hotels) and big spooky trout. If all things come together, you'll see the fish take your fly. The picture of it flowing by the church is idyllic.

It's still a beautiful place to play a gig. Just don't drink the water.
