First Gig with DNA

Postby Bassballz » Wed Jul 23, 2014 2:08 pm

So I finally got a chance to play out with my DNS210. My band played at a small bar called The Monkey House in Winooski, VT. The place holds about 75 people. Nice place, good beer.

I bridged my Eden WT1205 into my DNS210, a little overpowered but i wasn't planning on pushing the rig much.

Once the bass rolled into the first song, it became immediately clear that this cabinet was going to do more than my wildest expectations. This single 2x10 filled the entire bar with bass. Not just bass you can feel, but tone that cut through with such transparent highs, my slap bass style was making it to every ear in the place. I am so thoroughly impressed with DNA cabinets. My second DNS210 just arrived today so band practice this weekend will be something interesting as I bridge my WT1205 into both 8 ohm DNS210's!!!!

So the gig went well, I let the opening band use my rig. The bass player specifically said, "wow, I've never heard such a clean tone before." that's true buddy, oh so true.

I'm a happy camper and can't wait to take my DNA out to the next show!!!
