Old Friend Stopping By

Postby LaneOnBass » Sun Sep 30, 2012 1:37 pm

Hey, all y'all!! I hope everyone is doing well and playing a TON! I know it's been ages since I last visited, and you old timers know why. (smile) But I did want to drop in to catch up for a bit.

Some of you know that I've made some MAJOR changes lately... most importantly (for bass players anyway) is that I am in the process of recording a new CD. I'm working with Polo Jones - one of my best friends and another bass player. Polo is a phenomenal producer; it's like working with a smarter version of myself. That's how deeply he understands what I want to do.

Now, before you ask, I haven't been working with the company for a couple of years, so I can't answer any questions about what's going on.

If you'd like to know more about what I'm doing, please check out the Lane Baldwin web site. You can also LIKE, FOLLOW or SUBSCRIBE to:

my new Facebook Fan Page
my You Tube page
my Twitter stream

The reason I've changed from "Lane on Bass" to "Lane Baldwin" for everything is that moving forward I'll be performing under my own name instead of a band name. So changing all the sites/channels/whatever to my own name just made more sense.

Anyhoo... as I said before, I hope everyone is playing a TON. Thanks to all who have emailed or kept in touch in other ways. For those who haven't, please feel free to stop by any of the above and leave me a message. Take good care, everyone, and don't forget...

Keep Thumpin'!
