Go, Dave Pomeroy!!

Don't know if y'all know this...

Dave is the person responsible for the Bass Orchestra concept, and the concept of an all-bass concert.

Dave and I went to JR High School and first two years of high school together.

He's a **wonderful person, and a monster player.
Keep Thumpin'!

Now how cool is that!

Bass circles tend to be somewhat small. I was talking to the bass player from the Brian Doerksen band after their concert on the weekend and it turns out he is good friends with a bass player from Victoria, BC that I became friends with last year.

I hear you. Thing is... David and I didn't even know about each other back then. REASON: there were so few bass players in the area that bands would lie, saying they didn't have one - so no one else would try to steal them.

It wasn't until well after we left school that David and I discovered we had been there at the same time.
