Gota be strong. Even though I am almost 60, someone somewhere will want me and my skills...

Re: Single DNS-112N

My church purchased two 4x10's by gk, and a gk amp. :handgestures-thumbdown: It rattles, vibrates, and it a big hunk of junk. It is not much better than my GK 210 combo. (see previous post). The EQ, well, so very poor. I must leave them flat and tweak the eq on my Bart's. Played my friends Carvin, h...

Re: Single DNS-112N

Cost is an issue for me. I can get a single 4x10 for pennies more than a 112. The new 410 is about 70 lbs, the old one was about 100 lbs. It therefore weighs about 25 to 30% less than the previous 410. The gitty-up from the 410 is very, so very attractive! The quality of sound a 112 has is equally a...

bass tuners

I am starting to look for a good tuner, one that is in-line as so to speak or in an effects loop. I think a good feature with this type of unit would be a mute, so a simple push of the button - the bass is muted, and tune away! Push again, back to normal (hopefully without a pop!) So what works well...

Re: DNS212

Just did a search on the pre and amp you are using. 300 for the pre and 400 for the amp. That comes up to 700. That is a whole lot less than an 800c, and probably much more dependable! The 410 at bass central is right at 1100 on their web site. Put that together, that is 1800 for a killer pre amp, p...
