Born and raised just north of Chicago, Joejoe has always loved the bass. Beginning at the age of 7 on the electric bass and later playing upright in middle school. Continuing through high school and college, he played in orchestras and jazz bands and studied bass players likes James Jamerson, Pino Palladino, Chuck Rainey, John Taylor, Nathan East, and others… enjoying their playing styles and creating motivation for getting better.
After college, Joejoe moved to Chicago to begin his career playing gigs of all styles as well as teaching locally around the city. You can find Joejoe playing clubs and weddings, festivals, and touring the world.
